Aside from that rather embarrassing feud between host, James Corden and British actor Patrick Stewart, there was only one thing (or lady, we should say) that people were talking about after the 2010 Glamour Woman of the Year Awards. And that lady, dear friends, was Cheryl Cole.

Scooping the top prize of ‘Woman of the Year’ at London’s Berkeley Square Gardens, Cole picked up her award in a bespoke, lingerie-inspired Julien Macdonald dress, embellished JImmy Choos and a glitzy silver clutch from VBH.

Not one to be out-shined, Cole opted for more sparkle with the Harlequin ring (see below) from luxury jeweller, Astley Clarke. Made with a pale green amethyst, white diamonds and 18ct yellow gold, this show-stopper of a cocktail ring added instant bling to Cole’s already stunning ensemble.

Bec Astley Clarke, founder and managing director of Astley Clarke, said: ‘We were delighted that Cheryl decided to wear Astley Clarke fine jewellery for the Glamour Woman of the Year Awards. Cheryl is always dressed impeccably and part of this look is the amazing way she enhances these outfits with beautiful jewellery. The Delacorte Collection is a beautiful celebration of old time glamour and this is our favourite cocktail ring.’

So, fancy splashing out on the Harlequin ring? It’ll cost a few pretty pennies: £2,395 from Astley Clarke.
