Diane Kruger is usually one of the first ladies to get her hands on a new-season Chanel creation literally hot off the catwalk, and this time was no different.

The stunning blonde actress and Karl Lagerfeld fave attended Chanel’s Fine Jewellery 80th Anniversary Celebration in New York wearing a dark blue strapless dress fresh from the spring/summer 2013 collection, teaming it with a contrasting yellow clutch and discreet Christian Louboutin shoes.

As the design was fresh from the runway, we doubt there would have been much time to alter it, but if there was, we wish the hem would have been taken up a bit to match the look of the runway model. And because Diane has ridiculously perfect pins so the more we get to see of them the better. A statement neck piece similar to that of the catwalk model wouldn’t have gone amiss either.

There’s no denying that Diane looks incredible though. Diane Kruger + Chanel is always going to be a wining combination no matter what.
