SJP Style

“A fashion icon if there ever was one, Sarah Jessica Parker sets the style stakes so high, what girl wouldn’t kill for her wardrobe? Whether she’s in Carrie couture or vintage SJP, this fashion queen always manages to look hip, gorgeous and, best of all, like she hasn’t tried too hard. And now you can too…! “

I cannot wait for the next season of Sex and the City. Glamour has a little feature on how to steal SJP’s style. This has to be one of my fave outfits from the new season probably cause its more of my personal style. If I could wear one outfit forever it would be a cool top, with my jeans tucked into my comfy boots…”Style without pain”

I buy religiously every month, In Style, Vogue, Elle, Glamour, and occasionally Marie Claire, (quite a bad habit and very costly) and I have learnt that you have to take everything they say with a pinch of salt as they all contradict themselves. I just read a quite a funny and true article about this from www.relishnow.com. Most of the time I read them for the light entertainment and the interviews. If you tried to follow their fashion tips to the letter you would be a nervous wreck. Plus the fun of fashion is creating your own trends rather than getting caught up in what we are told to wear.

Fashion, it’s a business.

“The Great Fashion Conspiracy Myth”

This article from the Guardian is worth the read. Often the fashion industry is exposed as being corrupt but really we all know this and in reality it’s no different to any other business. Its a shame but this is the world we live in. Nobody does something for nothing.
