Tokyo….Fashion Capital?

1st July 2005 6:30 am

There’s no denying that the Japanese know their fashion, and when the queen of style herself Gwen Stefani expressed her love of the Harajuku girl on her recent album “L.A.M.B” it was sealed – “the Japanese most definitely had style”. Now in a bid to rival the top fashion cities, London, Paris, New York and Milan, the Japanese will be holding the first ever Japan Fashion week in Tokyo. The event will last 10 days, from the 31st of October and will be followed by two shows Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter. The aim is to see whether Japanese Fashion can capture the world’s attention.

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
