Tokyo….Fashion Capital?
There’s no denying that the Japanese know their fashion, and when the queen of style herself Gwen Stefani expressed her love of the Harajuku girl on her recent album “L.A.M.B” it was sealed - “the Japanese most definitely had style”. Now in a bid to rival the top fashion cities, London, Paris, New York and Milan, the Japanese will be holding the first ever Japan Fashion week in Tokyo. The event will last 10 days, from the 31st of October and will be followed by two shows Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter. The aim is to see whether Japanese Fashion can capture the world’s attention.
“Harajuku Girls you got the wicked style, I like the way that you are, I am your biggest fan” - Gwen Stefani
