Beyonce Designs accessories
According to WWD, The House of Dereon, the fashion brand founded by mother and daughter Beyonce and Tina Knowles confirmed that they would be adding small leather goods and handbags to their collection under a licensing agreement with Accessory Exchange. The collection which will range from contemporary to casual will be sold alongside the footwear in the more higher end stores with prices ranging from $90 to $300.
Beyonce has said of the venture into accessories,
“In the same way that lighting and sets and sound design are necessary for an engaging concert performance, handbags harmonize with shoes and other accessories to create an unforgettable look,” she said.
Originally scheduled to be shown in September during fashion week, the brand has moved its presentation to February when it will make its catwalk debut.
