you can tell this is made for the thyck women out there by the scrawny chicks wearing the clothes. that goes for you too, Kelly, and especially blondie up there.

having seen the site, and the sizes of those jeans, i’m not feeling that whole statement. i don’t see anyone BUT tall scrawny girls wearing those clothes anytime soon.

    Sorry, B

I’m so excited, for Beyonce. She has accomplished much, and this just adds to her list. As the pictures above showed, from the Oprah show, the line has a mixture from the 3 generations, of women. The line is not created for only, anorexic women, and is not intended to, but has jeans for the “curvy” woman, which I think is great and sends a positive image to younger generations. Hopefully, this line will suceed, and be around for a long time. I can’t wait to buy a pair of jeans from them.

Like I said before, Get ‘em ladies, u inspire me to be better and fly……

  7. Nicol says:

I am highly anticipating the launch of this fashion line. I believe it is safe to say that the House of Dereon will indeed bring a breath of life to the fashion industry. I do hope that sizes will be available for the more bootylicious sistas (size 14/16)…if not add a little extra spandex for me!!

Ohh yes, and tall sizes would be excellent.

  8. Shelia says:

If you were LISTENING! to the show. The clothes go up to size 14, after that YOU SHOULDN’T BE WEARING MOST OF THOSE OUTFITS ANYWAY!
p.s. I love the designs. I can’t wait to see the whole collection. I am going to purchase that dress Beyonce’s mom had on.

  9. Tami says:

my jeans are in the mail as we speak..woohoo!! hope i’m not disappointed.

  10. mi mi B says:

im feelin the way that its not clothes for sticks but also for those who have hips!! I love Beyonce’s style and for her to now have her own bran this is truley a blessing not only for her but for those who watch her grow.

  11. Kahleigha says:

  12. Sienna says:

  13. Che' Harvey says:

I saw the show on Oprah and I LOVE the line; however, a single parent such as myself would NEVER be able to afford even a pair of jeans at $98 a pair! What about the working force such as myself who would love to wear House of Dereon?
    Thanks…

  14. Grace says:

Well all I have to say is the line has alot of potential, but I thought that the prices would be more reasonable I mean its not couture or anything. Even the supreme diva herself Jlo’s line was a slim margin beneath that, and she even provided a JLO line and Sweetface for more extravagant buyers. I will not be spending my hard earned money on those overpriced korean made getups.

  15. Amanda says:

i was looking for a grad dress and saw one on oprah from this company, no matter what i do i can’t find a price. If you could please let me know how much the green dress that kelly Roland was wearing is.
    Thank You amanda

  16. Karpe says:

  17. Jamilah Lee says:

I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO PURCHASING SOME ITEMS FROM HOUSE OF DEREON. I HAVE A SMALL WAIST WITH A PROFOUND BACKSIDE AND THICK SHAPELY LEGS. I AM WORRIED THAT THE JEANS MAY NOT BE FOR ME, BUT THOSE DRESSES ARE GORGEOUS!!!

  18. Shai says:

I feel you girl. I’m only a size five and no jeans fit my back side or my leggs. Now thats a trip ait it. I’m trying to figure out what body shape people are making these jeans for.

  19. jasmine scott says:

  20. DEDA says:

BEYONCE YOU NEED TO STOP TRYING YO BE LIKE AALIYAH SHE WAS ON TOP OF THE GAME PRETTY,CAN DANCE OH HELL YAH SING SHE KNOW SHE CAN BLOW BUT MY GIRL IS GONE SHE IS IN A BETTER PLACE KNOW SO STOP TRYING TO BE LIKE HER BECAUSE YOU CAN’T STAND UP TO HER STANDARDS BUT HER AND Khida jones wre about to start ther own line befor she died you is just a fake…..but i will buy your cloths and sell them for less because thats all ther worth…..bye child”

  21. Hellen Migwi says:

I think is one of the best things Beyonce has ever accomplished. And for her mom to support her like this really shows us what a great mom she is. Good luck. Hellen Madison WI.

  22. Tiea says:

Im just wating for someone to come out with a coo plus size line where all the jeans aint $100 or more or that dont have to have that “plus size look”. nobody has that right now not BabyPhat-Jlo-Rocawear or none of those guys but the small girls clothes crack!thats no coo they think if they take a tee shirt an throw their logo on it it’ll sell “NOT!”. but thats because none of them are plus size were plus size, or care about anybody that is. the only reason they even have the bigger sizes (that usually run small anyway) to start with is to make money not because they care that somebody whose a size 18 likes to look good too. this line i can already tell is going to fall right into that catagory. but good luck on the new line any way!

  25. corral says:

The clothes are ok ,but very expensive

  26. Nora says:

Congrats Beyonce and i don’t think that beyonce is trying to be like Aaliyah she is just trying to do her own accomplisments i love the clothing and i am looking forward to buying that dress kelly was wearing and those jeans they were hot!i also loved the perfume True Star i can’t wait to see what else she comes up with

  27. Sand says:

I’m very, very, very disappointed with the prices, but love the jeans! I’m a fulltime student/worker/personal trainer who sees the real curves in the gym. My class and I thought your jeans would be perfect for curvaceous, athletic, thick sistz that are “bootylicious”…but hell da prices TOO high! REAL sistz WANT REAL prices. We like being “ghetto rich,” but we are not stuck-on-stupid for $98 jeans.

  28. JGirl says:

Why can’t they actually make clothes that look good on plus-size people. I dont believe that after size 14 you cant wear similar styles, why the hell not? Just use more darned material!!!

  29. LB says:

Beyonce, you’re fab, but i agree with AKC above. The price of your line should match with the average budget of your market (Im guessing ages 16-25). Im sure that the average women between these ages cannot possibly afford clothing so expensive, and if they can, it’s a small %. I splurge every now and then on a good quality clothing - but I wouldn’t splurge on HOD because of all the negative comments. If you did your marketing homework, you’d see that more than half of your market probably can’t afford your line.

  30. LB says:

I wonder what the sales have been since the line was introduced.

  31. Charles Anderson says:

I’m 16 years old and I really like our clothing line someday I hope to have my own one day I’m working on it right now trying to come with new ideas

  32. Sheila Farrar says:

i love house of dereon evening gowns i think that they all are gorgous and have there own unique sexiness involved i would love to purchase one for my self!

  33. joanne says:

All I have to say is that the jeans are wicked! Being a courvaeous woman myself, jeans are always the hardest clothing to find a good fit. It’s just a shame that B hasn’t launched in the UK yet but I’ll be in Florida in few months so I’ll be picking up a pair.

  34. munira says:

I am in love with House Of Dereon. My prom is coming up real soon and I saw some of the clothes on the oprah show & i was hopin you could let me know how much the price is. I’m really set on getting the dress kelly rowland was wearing.(Also i would love to model the clothes holla.)

  35. Kiesha says:

I think that Bee’s line of clothes is hot, but I wish that Bee and more designers would extend their clothes out to more full figured people like myself. Look Baby Phat and Rocawear, they have extended their sizes to the full figured women of today and so should you!!! I know that it costs more to supply a plus size line, but believe me when I say this, BIG GIRLS WILL PAY TO BE FLY AS HELL!!! Much love to BEYONCE, ad to those of you that have not piked up b-day, yall need to cause it is HOTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!

  36. veronica Bivins says:

please send me more information by email

  37. Ibn Adam says:

To all of my brothers and sisters in the music and movie industry that have made a serious payday: Be careful how you invest your money when it comes to entering the fashion biz. Your first step into this industry should be licensing your name only - that is right - let someone who is a manufacturer of clothing or jewlery pay you to use your name. If your name is not strong enough to entice a licensing deal, then may be you should hold off until it is. You do not want to lauch a line to find it going direct to some huge discount operator.

  38. Rachel says:

This clothing must be targeted to individuals who make the same amount of $ as Beyonce because the prices are definitely too high for students or even middle class single mothers trying to purchase clothing for their daughters. Even in the Victoria Secrets catalog, the boots were the most expensive sold. I am extremely disappointed the clothing although cute is so unaffordable.

  39. Cherla says:

I agree that the line has very nice jeans, but to pay $150 & $210 for one pair of jeans is outrageous. I am a college student and those prices just wouldn’t not go with my budget or many of my classmates either. Baby phat, jlo, and roca wear are all resonably priced. You can buy two or maybe 2 pair of their jeans for the price of 1 pair of House of Dereon. Again, love the jeans but the price just isn’t working.

  40. nani says:

Yall give to much credit to beyonce her mama created those clothes and beyonce just put her name on it.

  41. Care Bear says:

Lovin your clothes but u should make bigger jeans cause i’m a thick gurl and i wear size 16 cause i have lots of hips and booty and sometimes the jeans only fit around me and not my waist i really love your clothing and youre doin a great job keep it up and brush dem haters off also your hairstyles are drop dead lolz keep doin ya thing (F)
Don’t hate when someone critize just strive to be better

  42. Kimberly says:

    Dear Beyonc’e
I love your clothing line so much. Oh yeah, I saw you and your sister Solang’e in a VIBE magazine, modeling you and yuor mother’s fashion line. Your grandma surely did have an inspiration on you all. I say that because your fashion lin is very very pretty and has a lot of flavor to it. So work yo stuff and I “CONGRATULATE” you on your success.
I will make sure to buy a pair of your jeans in the future!!!!!!!!

  43. CLEA says:

  44. will smith says:

o.k charles ur a loser i mean who says dat.

  45. brittany says:

all yall be trippin…this is not a site to be banging on people..there is no need for that…so get over it and move on

  46. tori says:

Being a bootylicious chick myself i can appreciate a pair of good jeans that hug my body. These fit the bill, and are pretty snug against my waist (no gapping). But why did her price jump from inception to delivery? Meaning, they were cheaper when she first dropped her line :/ I am also not a fan of the material or how “cheap” they look/feel in person. I own quite a many pair of premium denim jeans and these are not anywhere near the quality of the other brands out there.
All I can say is back to the drawing board and come back stronger and better. I know you can do it Bey. You’ve come out on top with everything else.

  47. Diamond says:

Beyonce I love your line of clothes. Especially the coats because winter is my favorite season, but I am a 17 year old with out a job. I am about to start college and I want to look good. I wish I could afford your line but it is really to expensive. Please consider all your fans! We love you and we would like for you to make it easier to follow in the footsteps of the person we look up to. B please lower your prices!

  48. nakaita says:

Hi I just wanted to ask Mrs. Tina Knowles if she designs dresses for her fans. My prom is coming up on June 6 2007 and I was wondering if she could make a dress for me. Thank You sorry if I sound shady but I am very sincere about this.

  49. Ltjnk317 says:

I would just like to say that I love the H.O.D. collection.. but very disappointed with the sizes!!
Bottoms only go up too 13/14.. so I can only buy tops and nothing to match bottom wise!!! You really should consider extending sizes at least to 15/16.. I wonder what size B wears???

  50. Ben Adam says:

High fashion prices you out of the market that would really support you. Hip fashion for the 13 to 25 age range is your niche. It takes years to build a High Fashion customer base that can sustain a line. You are young build your young market. I know you love Mom but go for your own vision.
