V.sexy actor Johnny Depp has stepped up in defence of Kate Moss and slammed the fashion houses that dropped the model after pictures emerged of her snorting cocaine.
“She was dragged through the mud,” he told the Daily Mirror. “She’s not running for office, she ain’t looking to be the next Messiah.
She’s not out there philosophising or pretending to be a goody-two-shoes, she’s a human being. Kate should live her life how she wants to.”
also adding…..
“You have this attempt at global embarrassment, and that’s not showing support. No one is without some degree of flaw. We’re all horribly flawed in some way.”
Johnny who had a four year relationship with Kate in the nineties sang her praises further, concluding that he still cared about her a great deal.

I think that Depps comment is absolutly ridiculous. Last time I checked, doing drugs is ILLEGAL. People keep treating her like she’s superhuman or something. If she were a normal person and she got caught doing coke, she would be going to jail for a very long time. I don’t know how Kate didn’t end up getting arrested, but she got really lucky. If you were a modeling agency, would you want someone who snorts cocaine (and is obviously not very good at hiding it) representing your company? I think Kate deserves to have some sort of backlash to her hard-living ways – if she’s going to dish it out then she’s got to live with the consequences.
Drugs are bad and I dont agree with his statments either, but he is so hot.
