Berry Versace
We were promised a “visual success when Halle Berry signed up to be the face of Versace and boy did they deliver.
Photographed by Mario Testino in LA for the spring/summer 2006 ads, Halle took a day off from filming X-men 3 for the shoot which lasted 20 hours. Versace said of Halle,
“Halle represents everything that is great about this collection , someone who loves colour, has a real sensuality, who is strong yet feminine and who is a real woman who has lived. For me she is easier to relate to and more relevant than a model and of course she looks simply beautiful in the clothes. Furthermore I have known Halle for many years and have always admired her determination and her professionalism.”
