Avril, a top model?

Posted by Michele Obi on Thursday, 26 January 20069 Comments

Who would have thought it but singer Avril Lavigne has decided she wants to try her hand at modelling. Avril has signed up with top modelling agency Ford and told Harper’s Bazaar,

“I want to do those really beautiful ads with the high-end products.

I look through magazines and stare at ads and think: ‘I’m not six feet tall, but I know I can do that.’”

Her look has slowly changed from punk princess, to lady like chic and Avril claims she’s starting to feel more feminine. Apparently this transformation all began when she received a Prada Handbag as a gift.

Could there be a major contract on the way…
