Sienna’s fashion statement

As obvious as this is, I didn’t actually see this one coming. Sienna Miller and her sister Savannah have announced that they will be launching their own fashion label, with a name inspired by Sienna’s birthday, “Twenty8Twelve”. Anyone wishing to feel sceptical should know that the venture will most probably be a creative success if their fashion credentials are anything to go by.
Sienna unlike the likes of Nicole Richie, does not hire or fire stylists as she styles herself, while Savannah is a graduate of Central Saint Martins who has lent her talents to Alexander McQueen, Betty Jackson and Matthew Williamson. The collection compiled of 80 pieces will be entitled “An Anthology of Rebellion” and is inspired by “Dickensian London”
Quoted by Style.com, Sienna said of the partnership,
“This isn’t about just lending a name to something and not really being involved.”
Hmmm could she be having a dig at Kate Moss?

LOL I can’t believe it! Im really excited to see this new fashion line on the scene. I think some great pieces will come from her.

[…] Even Sienna Miller, who’s faced a lot of criticism in her time for being an imitation of Kate, has taken an active role in her new label and Milla Jovovich who teamed up with Carmen Hawk, has stated in the past that she is always busy sourcing materials and finding inspiration for new collections. […] So it’s not exactly breaking news that Sienna Miller along with her sister Savannah have launched a label called “Twenty8Twelve“. After celebrating with a party in New York, the sisters brought the festivities to London with a private party to mark the opening of their new boutique in Notting Hill. Pictures from the collection surfaced a while ago and after numerous peeks I can’t seem to form any concrete opinion about the line. Do I love it, hate it or feel indifferent? I really don’t know. The pieces that have been worn by the Miller sisters at parties or in editorial pics, look fab. But standard images like these, just fail to impress. […]
