Apple has finally unveiled the iPhone to much anticipation. So what does this mean for fashion? Do we care? Should we care? The short answer is yes! This latest gadget from Apple combines your mobile with the internet and MP3 player costing around £250. (start saving now)
What’s more the iPhone can screen television shows and films, take photographs with two megapixel camera, browse the internet and send emails and text messages. Hang on an apple picking minute…my phone already has these features! (then again I never use them) So what’s all the fuss about? What Apple have done is bring all these features together in a sleek, sexy, stylish device and made them EASY to use. Basically the nice guys at Apple have made it with you and me in mind.
Imagine, strolling into your local Starbucks…ahem coffee shop… and accessing your favourite fashion blogs (via Wi Fi), doing a little spot of online shopping or sending a friend a picture of the cute guy sitting opposite you sipping a laté whilst listening to Mika’s, Grace Kelly all on a big beautiful touch screen!
Designers will no doubt create fabulous accessories for the iPhone in the same way all the major fashion houses recognised the iconic status (and the screen that was begging to be scratched!) of the iPod. If you loved the iPod you’ll love the iPhone which will be a fashion must have for 2007 completely revolutionising the way we communicate.
So there you have it - the iPhone has everything! Pity it doesn’t have a wine opener though….

Would just love to get one of those. I can see the day when you will be able to walk into a store or a cafe and have a wi fi node there to be able to connect up to the Net. Ah my dad said when he was a young boy they use to
talk about this kind technology in comic books; someone by the name of Dick Tracy I think he said had such devices and could make telephone calls from his wrist watch!! Well Maxwell Smart used his shoe didn’t he….lol.
is it the Dick part…..lol ?
