It’s a boy/girl thing!

by Anna Rossiter on February 26, 2007

I’m not really one for the transference of women’s fashion to the guys, in my opinion this should have stopped at the ‘man bag’; however it totally works the other way around! And judging from the looks which emerged from the spring catwalks, I’m not the only one who shares the same sentiment.

Stella_Paul_Wunderkind
Collections from the likes of Wunderkind, Stella McCartney and Paul Smith (as shown in the picture above) drew on basic masculine cuts to create ranges of tailored shirts, blazers and shorts especially for us girls. The great thing about each of these looks is their adaptability to different occasions, so whether you’re scheduled for an important lunch, followed by a meeting at the office then dinner and drinks with friends you can easily incorporate aspects from these styles into your day without having to rush home and change.

I think this blog is really great. I really like how you talk not only about women’s fashion, but about men’s too. The best part was how after you talked about men’s and then women’s fashion you compared the two, and you said that they can be combined. Another thing I like is how you added pictures that go along with the text. I kind of thought there should have been more information on this blog about this article, but then I found out that under the text there were many websites that you could go to and read more about this topic, which I thought was really awesome. I love how this blog tells women that the whole girlish style it kind of gone and now there’s a new fashion style inline.

I really like this Springs Gap Commercial with the song “Anything you can do I can do better”, where the women pulls the pants off of the man and wears them better than the man!
