You’re definitely right! Fashion is NOT a luxury. This message is one that it took me a while to fully believe. I’m a BBW and I used to buy cheap clothing because I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on clothes that I would soon be too skinny to wear. Ha,ha,ha. Well, those skinny days came but only for a brief time (while I was dieting) and then the fat came back with a vengeance. After many, many years I finally realized that I deserved to look beautiful, no matter what my size. Then my daughter (who is a big girl herself) decided to become a fashion designer and to specialize in plus-size clothing. Her line, Jahqoi, is starting to take off. With her help, I’m learning how to dress stylishly. And I’m really loving it. It’s like I’ve got a new lease on life.
Thanks for having this blog. I’ll be a regular from now on.
