I designed a logo with colors and gradients for a group of doctors (see http://ohiogi.com). They like it, but aren’t too happy with the printing costs. Yeah, prices have come down, but not enough yet, I guess. Also, I don’t think you can use a famous logo to make a point about style. E.g., I’m not sure Westighouse (or even IBM/Coke, for that matter) would be considered if designed good today. They look good now because we’ve been seeing them for ages.

Please also start a writing contest for bloggers with big prizes. It can become hugely popular: perhaps the most popular writing competition in the world if you plan it well.

One of the things I really like about blog posts is that often they trigger a thought in my brain. When that happens, I feel as I must write a comment wishing it will be pleasant to some people. Considering the fact that there are many blogs with different points of view, they challenge your thinking. It really is at these occasions when you have good insignt the rest may not have had, not to mention the blogger herself/himself. I find myself coming back to to your weblog only because you have several great insights and also you have been at this a very long time, which is very impressive and tells me you know a lot. Keep triggering ideas in others!
