Revamps and re-launches appear to be the latest trend these days. Vogue.com has undergone a slight re-design. Elle US and Another Magazine have been revived and since its conception MySpace Fashion has been made over. Now Giorgio Armani announces that tomorrow will see the launch of a new online store at Emporio Armani which allows U.S residents the opportunity of receiving the same shopping experience online as they would in-store.

The Emporio Armani site is split into two sections, “Experience” - An area where visitors can watch highlights from past catwalk shows, view catalogues and look books and catch up on latest Emporio Armani news - and “Shop Online” which offers visitors the chance to shop current collections. Of the launch Giorgio Armani said:

“I have had the chance to see first hand the mounting enthusiasm for online fashion shopping in the United States through the growing success we have had with our A/X Armani Exchange online store. I have also observed the increasing sophistication of fashion consumers shopping online, which has encouraged me to develop this new site for my Emporio Armani lifestyle. There is a growing group of fashion consumers who enjoy the ease and flexibility that online shopping offers and my objective has been to provide them with a seamless experience that reflects the spirit, style and service of a visit to an actual store.”

She loves sushi and counts Matthew Williamson, John Galliano, Valentino and Hussein Chalayan as her favourite designers. Her biggest regret - never seeing Prince in concert!
