We’ve raved about Arcangel before and if you take a look at their Winter 07 collection you’ll understand why. They design the most beautiful dresses! We can’t get enough of this Grecian style empire line dress and its intricate detailing (oh and we love the colour too). It’s called “Monique” and can be found on their website. Arcangel is available at HORN on South Robertson, L.A or PRESS in Primrose Hill, London, so if you love “Monique” as much as we do you should be able to purchase her from either stockist or you can give Arcangel a call on +44 (0) 207 1016571.

This post is part of the series 10 days 10 party dresses. For more in this feature click here.

In between editing, freelancing and spending most of her time on the internet, she also finds time to shop (too much) and obsess over shoes. She loves sushi and counts Matthew Williamson, John Galliano, Valentino and Hussein Chalayan as her favourite designers. Her biggest regret - never seeing Prince in concert!

This dress is outstanding. Even from this distance you can tell the detail is perfect. It brings an archaic, medieval look to the picture, which is beautiful. The light brown color of the garment is beautiful also. That nude color is great because you can wear it anytime. The rouching on the top of the gown adds character to the overall tableau. The v made in silver in the lower middle underneath the bosom is unique. Not many gowns have this piece of delicacy layered onto it. Many have a broach or a stone, but not a v of silver over a band near the bosom. This truly is an amazing piece.
