Holiday Gift Guide 2007: Harpers Bazaar - Great Style

With all the style guides around right now it’s getting harder and harder to impress us. So when we received the recent addition to the pack, Great Style: Best Ways to Update Your Look - written by Jenny Levin, senior editor and writer at Harpers Bazaar - we thought we were getting a coffee table book with gorgeous pictures. We were half right. The pictures are stunning but most importantly they are relevant. However it’s packed full with so much great advice and info that we just can’t relegate it to the coffee table. Instead it now has a permanent home on our bedside table.

Why? Well, nothing goes uncovered. The guide covers ages from 20 through to 70 and Levin offers up realistic easy to follow recommendations on ways to find your own unique style and how to continue updating your look, which is what we’re always striving to do.

It’s packed full of fashion and celebrity photographs but don’t let that put you off. They’re appropriate and bring Levin’s practical advice to life. Because there’s something for everyone we’d definitely say this is one style guide that would make a perfect gift!
