Alexander McQueen’s studio struck by thieves.
In terms of 2008 predictions we didn’t suspect that the thefts that plagued London designers last year would be rampant this year, especially as we thought the thieves were caught…..but it appears we might be wrong.
Just days into the new year and WWD reports that thieves raided Alexander McQueen‘s studio in the East End of London on Dec 27th. Handbag samples from the AW08 collection and computers were stolen but luckily for McQueen the damage wasn’t too bad.
Isn’t it weird how these studio thefts tend to occur just before fashion week? Just last September Christopher Kane was the victim of a break in at his studio….
