National Wear Red Day: “Fall in love” with your heart
With fashion week dominating our lives we completely forgot to draw your attention to the fact that yesterday was in fact Go Red Day. Thousands of women, men and organizations across America joined forces and either wore red or made a donation to the American Heart Association to help support ongoing research and education about women and heart disease - the No. 1 killer of women (and men).
The good news is that it’s never too late to participate! You can either have your very own “Wear Red Day”, wear your favourite red hat, socks, dress..whatever you wish!, make a donation, or even better why not organise a “Wear Red Day” at your office and have fun whilst spreading an important message.
We really do encourage and hope that you join us in showing your support. With increased knowledge and awareness, heart disease can be prevented and by helping to spread the word we can all help to reduce the risk!
