Presenting his AW08 collection at the Royal Opera House, Ashley Isham upped the glam factor and urged us ladies to channel our inner sex kitten next season. The collections palette ranged from cobalt blue, and bright orange to purple and caramel.

Snakeskin waistcoats complimented long evening dresses with plunging necklines. Edgier looks came in the form of patent leather biker jackets paired with body con dresses. Jewel brooches embellished various pieces and added a lovely final touch to some of the fitted jackets.

The award for favourite piece in the collection had to go to a gorgeous orange, layered strapless chiffon gown! The talking point of the show was a fabulous fringed dress made from laser cut strips of printed fabric.

And the verdict? It was a collection packed with many red carpet hits. Best of all it added a touch of romance to the week.

What beautiful, unconventional colors and combinations! Isham is clearly comfortable taking risks, and those risks pay off well in this collection.
