Accessories: Seeing Stars!

Everyone has been declaiming that stars are in! I have been a big fan of stars for awhile (to the point that I have several tattoos of them, but that is another story), but now that Kate, Mary-Kate, and, um, Paris (we didn’t say that they would ALL be pulled off with class) are wearing them, they are one of the trends du jour.

Now, I don’t own any clothing with stars on it—frankly I’m not sure that I could pull it off, and it would acquire some significant adjustments to my wardrobe. But that won’t stop me from partaking of this trend in my own way, tattoos aside. I was the lucky recipient of this lovely silver bracelet from Tiffany & Co. that is an easier take on the star trend (I also have my eye on the star lariat).

For those of you who like a bit more bling with your stars, they have plenty of other star-shaped jewelry as well. The Star Charm necklace is quite lovely too—but a bit beyond my budget so I’ll just stick to looking!
