Bag alert: Patent Francine by Coach
The name Coach may not fly off everyone’s tongue as pre-eminent handbag designers, but I’m a big fan of their merchandise (especially their planners and sunglasses). They also have very lovely window displays in their Manhattan shops, so I always try and walk by for a look-see every few weeks so I know what’s current.
Recently, my eye was immediately drawn to this Patent Francine bag, in teal. Computer screens do not do this rich, glowing, colour justice. It is unbelievably eye-catching, and lacks the over-zealous hardware/detailing that some other Coach bags have succumbed to.
The teal is spot-on for this season , but I love that the patent makes this bag a perfect accessory for the evening, while simultaneously making it fun for daytime use.
