as donna said up there, about the earnest sewn skinnies.
those are also my favourite, they are SO flattering and also SO comfortable! i have them in black, and they are definitely one of my favourite pairs of jeans. you may also want to try the stella or julie style of true religions though, they are also very very good, as true religions are my favourite all time brand of jeans.

What am I, like the 10th person on here to say J Brand? But it is so true!!! Their 10" skinny is so fabulous- I have it in two colors. The proportions are great, especially if you're petite. I get compliments on them constantly. My only complaint is that there isn't a lighter-weight fabric version of them. Also, the ink color faded pretty majorly. Still the best all around though. BDG is good if you can't drop the cash for J Brand, but I always find their jeans to have gaping space in the back of the waistband. So not hot. :)

I've had the same dilemma. I used to be a designer jean addict but they'd all end up fading and stretching out until they become my schleppy jeans. So now I've started buying cheaper pairs.

I'm loving my American Apparel skinny jeans right now. They're inexpensive and come in every single colour under the sun. I'm wearing the asphalt ones right now. But I'm sure some of you might brave the bright red or turqouise too.

Goldsign makes a pretty great pair. They are extremely soft and hug your curves, but in all the right places.

The best skinnies I've ever bought have to be by BDG at Urban Outfitters. They fit amazingly well and don't stretch out too much, even at the ankles! Plus, they're really inexpensive, which means getting them in multiple washes won't break the bank. Like with all jeans, I'd recommend buying them AT LEAST 1 size smaller, as they will stretch with constant wear.
