Shopping: French Sole “Season” flats
Shopping | Lindsay North | May 8, 2008
While I love spring and the warm weather it brings, I haven’t managed to find the time to get a pedicure. By this, I mean that my toes are staying hidden in ballet flats until I get myself over to a salon! But just because my tootsies haven’t caught up to this season doesn’t mean the rest of me has fallen behind, which is why I was delighted to find these super cute French Sole “Season” flats.
The oversized rosette on the toe is oh-so-current, given that florals are everywhere we look, but they will still work with a variety of outfits. French Sole is renowned for making great ballet flats as well, so the quality is top-notch and I won’t have to say goodbye to these after only wearing them a few times.
I am drawn to the cognac nappa as a great spring/summer neutral, but I have a serious crush on anything yellow at the moment. Plus, these flats are just so cheery and the mustard-y colour ups the mood-enhancing power of these shoes. Although I will eventually find the time to get a pedicure, I’ll still keep wearing these flats. They’re too cute not to! $125 at Nordstrom.com
