Honesty, the Jessica shoe follows the original one practically stitch for stitch, so I don't even think the copycats or the people that pull clothes for "get the look for less"/"spurge vs. bargain" features are usually able to find such good matches. Usually the lower cost version is a different take on the pricer original, so I side with the blogger and you guys are too harsh on her. Like Jessica Simpson needs to be defended.

Do you really think she's still hurting after the divorce and able to afford the Louis Vuitton store's line (which she's bought at least one set of everything they've made).

Yeah, and I'm sure the Native Americans are real pleased with Kate Hudson wearing moccasins. You are an idiot.

[...] So, I get that imitation is the highest form of flattery, but I can’t imagine the people at Minnetonka Moccasin company being overly pleased with Jessica Simpson at the moment. Her beaded. Source: Copycat: Minnetonka vs Jessica Simpson [...]

Yeah, the similarities are very obvious. Right down to the Thunderbird...

But if you look hard enough you might find almost everything is a borrowed idea.

As for the moccasin, they look comfy, but hot pink?
Leg warmers are extra, right?

What rock did you just crawled out of? Much like everything else today, the consumers pay for the name brand. If you can call it copycat then every other shoe manufacturer should be labeled the same way. You people only notices this because it's been reported JS line is the fastest selling items at Macys. Jealous much?

[...] Copycat: Minnetonka vs Jessica Simpson by Lindsay North May 09 2008 2 So, I get that imitation is the highest form of flattery, but I can’t imagine the people at Minnetonka Moccasin company being overly pleased with Jessica Simpson at the moment. Her beaded “Mocca” flat is a blatant rip-off of the classic Minnetonka “Thunderbird” moc, worn by many a celeb such as Kate Hudson, Courtney Cox, Julia Roberts and Drew Barrymore (Kate Moss is also a Minnetonka fan, although she favours their boot Source: Copycat: Minnetonka vs Jessica Simpson [...]

I agree with the unattractive remark... since when did native americans wear hot pink? It is just too tacky for my liking.
