Dress Lust: Mint Jodi Arnold Colour Block Dress

16th May 2008 1:30 am

This season, is full of so many options. Colour blocking. Bright colours. Sheer. The maxi-dress. Ethnic prints. Florals. 80s-chic. Seems like a girl can’t really go wrong!

Encompassing several of these trends, is this MINT jodi arnold Color block dress.

It is completely summery with it’s sundress styling, but the meticulous pleating below the bust adds a tailored, polished look. The colour blocking brilliantly uses both neutrals AND lemon yellow, and the small black silk knotted detailing at the bustline is reminiscent of Moroccan textiles.

It is perfect for a night out, day-wear, or the office (pending you throw on a conservative cardigan over it). The dress lends itself equally well to flats or a low heel, a sandal or a pump. It’s a statement-making piece that is quite versatile depending on the accessories you pair it with—it’s practically a guarantee of fabulousness. $430 at net-a-porter.

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
