Patricia Field: The Stylist that can’t style herself…

As much as I love Patricia Field, she is one stylist (after Rachel Zoe and for different reasons) that will forever baffle me. She’s an amazing stylist, lets face it, Sex and the City would not have been the same without her influence and she consistently makes her clients look nothing short of fabulous. But when it comes to her own personal style, she gets it SO wrong. Her outfit choices are ill-fitting and the colours often clash, and not in a quirky, looks cool kind of way.
That said, there is the odd occasion when she gets it right, (see image below) but on the whole, her sense of style is so disappointing.
Which begs me to ask the question, why?

LOL…I’m in firm agreement–she can’t style for one kobo! The last picture looks great, but the previous style blunders makes me wonder if she hasn’t got some hideous coat/or shawl stashed away in coat check for the red dress.
