Shopping: Floppy Hats

With all of my summer travel plans (most which revolve around a beach of some kind), I’m in the need for fun hat to help shade myself from the sun – especially since I’m getting more paranoid about premature aging. Straw hats can look a little too rustic looking in my opinion, but a hat made of light-weight fabric, like this one by Helen Kaminski are much more elegant.

Made of breathable cotton organdy, this floppy-brimmed hat will keep you cool while adding an element of resort-chic glam. I love that the hat is very stylish and delicate and doesn’t overwhelm the face and body as some of the “Kentucky derby-esque” alternatives. $85 available on Nordstrom.com.
