Would you pay $345 for a pair of rubber sandals? Presuming your answer is no…neither would I. Well, that’s how much you’d have to shell out for these jelly diamond beach sandals by Chanel (recently spotted on Cameron Diaz). O.K I get it, its Chanel, its embellished with a jewel and If you wore these babies on the beach you’d seriously be strolling in style. But honestly I’d rather invest the money in a Chanel bag. I wore jelly sandals when I was in elementary school, and after that… never again. I understand they’re trying to make them popular again because they’re a nice label, but the fact is, they’re plastic, they look like trash, and if you’re being suckered into buying them, I feel bad for you.
The only people that are going to realize you’re wearing Chanel sandals when you’re wearing them, will be other ridiculous fanatics like yourself. No one else will even so much as give them a second glance.
