Biker Chic Comes To The High Street: Leather Trousers
Aren’t leather trousers a bit of a no-no these days what with all the chaffing and sweating that accompanies an outing in a pair? Not according to the high street. While out gathering inspiration for my new autumn/winter wardrobe I happened to notice an unusual number of leather garments in many stores.
And it’s not just leather trousers stealing the limelight- jackets, ponchos, leggings and tops are making a star appearance.
H&M are rumoured to be bringing out a cape-style black winter jacket in leather (waterproof and stylish , can you go wrong?) and Topshop are going all rock’n'roll on us with these skinny black leather trousers.
The only problem is that they aren’t meant to be washed (ever!) which might pose a problem after a while. £95 available at Topshop.com
