Recession. Credit crunch. Both are terms that we’ll forever associate with 2008, but it seems neither are having an affect on fashion. Well, in the UK that is.

A recent survey conducted by www.MyCelebrityFashion.co.uk revealed that 49% of the British public spend more every month on their appearance than they do on food while 18% admitted to spending more than half their wages on clothes and accessories.

What’s even more interesting is that 32% of UK females confess that if push came to shove they’d prefer to go without food to nab that fashion “must-have”. Which begs us to ask the question….

She loves sushi and counts Matthew Williamson, John Galliano, Valentino and Hussein Chalayan as her favourite designers. Her biggest regret - never seeing Prince in concert!
