Joy boot by French Connecton

So it’s got to that time of the season when you’re sick of your summer clothes and recoil at the thought of your winter ones. But never fear, accessories are here, the best way to update your wardrobe and get your shopping fix is definitely invest in a new pair of shoes or boots.

Just yesterday, on my hourly jaunt down the high street I found a new and unlikely shoe mecca in the form of French Connection. Yep the place you normally go to for a party dress or fabulous coat, is now the sweet shop of the shoe world. With my nose pressed up against the glass I peered in, and there before me lay a world of thigh high boots and burgundy snakeskin stilettos.

Ok, so maybe I’m gushing but if you want some new shoes that are not only on trend but make a real statement then French Connection is the place for you. I am already having palpitations over their Joy boot, a stunning mix of suede and leather in a perfect heel height, not forgetting to mention they’re thigh high, the only length worth wearing this autumn/winter, perfect over skinny jeans or with a girly chiffon dress! Yummy!
