Most Wanted: Matina Amanita ‘Globetrotter’ Ring
Central Saint Martin’s graduate and Stretsis designer, Matina Sukhahuta has recently launched a mouth-watering collection of cocktail rings named ‘Globetrotter’ as part of her label Matina Amanita.
Inspired by Sukhahuta’s travels around the world, each ring is based on a building from a different city, country or place the designer visited and the result is a truly original and memorable collection of treasures.
Our personal favourite ‘Globetrotter’ is the wonderful Chrysler Building ring. Despite its chunkiness, the piece is simple and elegant- owing perhaps to the single stone on the tip of the ring and its silver and gold structure.
Other cities featured in the collection include London and Sydney.
Matina Amanita is currently available at Matches in London and TG-170 in New York and is additionally stocked in India, Japan, Thailand, and Australia.
