London Fashion Week: John Rocha

John Rocha SS09

Before going to John Rocha yesterday I thought I knew what to expect. I was mistaken. Rocha’s presentation was a surprise – thankfully in a good way. The collection was breathtaking, stunning, gorgeous…I could go on.

Powder faced models glided down the runway in knitted lace dresses, light tweed suits, backless loose vests, trench dress-coats, crisp white bib shaped tops and “lantern like shaped coats and dresses.

The real gems in the collection however were the colourful (salmon pink, mint green, baby blue) fluid dresses which literally drew gasps from the audience. I can’t stress how beautiful this collection truly was. Thumbs up all round!
