Emmys America Ferrera

You’d think we were all fashioned out with London Fashion Week last week and Milan Fashion Week this week. But nope. Any excuse to oggle beautiful gowns and we’re there. The Emmys took place on Sunday night and although ratings for the awards ceremony were a big fat flop, luckily the red carpet was not. Of course there were some ill advised outfits (cough…Eva Longoria) but hey how boring would it be if all the starlets did it right? Our favourite for the night had to be America Ferrera with Vanessa Williams coming a close second.

America looked fantastic in a strapless black bubble dress accessorised with a gold clutch and a gorgeous Fred Leighton necklace while Vanessa wowed in a stunning one shouldered fitted gown with bold prints by Kevan Hall.

We’re still in two minds about Heidi Klum’s sparkly asymmetrical Armani number. We love the colour on her but the layers are a bit too fussy. Oh and didn’t Brooke Shields look hot hot hot in her pink ruffled strapless Badgley Mischka gown?
