Katie Grand to Launch Magazine with Condé Nast
Magazines are dying a slow death. Not according to Condé Nast.
The publishing giant has snapped up jack of all fashion trades, Katie Grand to launch and edit a new cutting edge biannual magazine which they promise will be “edgy and experimental”.
Right now the title is unknown and both Katie and Conde Nast are super excited about the project. Managing director of Condé Nast Nicholas Coleridge said of the venture,
“It is a new departure for Condé Nast UK to publish an edgy, high-end style title in this sector, and in Katie Grand we have the perfect Editor who brings the perfect team. This promises to be a very exciting launch.”
Katie who launched Pop magazine in 2000 and who always dreamed of editing Vogue said,
“I’m really looking forward to building up a new magazine from scratch again - a fresh start is always fun, and we have lots of ideas we can’t wait to start working on.
Sounds interesting. The first issue hits newsstands in March. Watch this space.
