Celebrate British Fashion with British Style Genius!
Not to be missed (if you’re in the UK). British Style Genius, a five part documentary about British Fashion and Style, hits BBC2 next Tuesday and we already know we’re going to be hooked.
The series promises to take a look into exactly what makes British fashion so influential with a number of insiders including Kate Moss, Twiggy, Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen contributing their thoughts and opinions.
The timing of the show is perfect. The British fashion industry is in an interesting place right now. Despite all the creativity pouring from the capital (and it is literally pouring)… just take a look at the stir Gareth Pugh caused in Paris this week the powers that be actually considered cutting our fashion week short! Yes we’re still reeling from the fact that it was even a possibility.
We’ve been waiting for a documentary like this for a while now. Be sure to watch BBC2 at 9pm on Oct 7th for the first episode.
