Cosmopolitan Online Fashion Awards 2009
Last week, retails finest came together for the Cosmopolitan online fashion awards 2009. Held at the swanky Roof Gardens in Kensington the breakfast ceremony paid tribute to the retailers that slave away to bring us the best fashion has to offer straight to our desktops.
“Nothing quite beats surfing for a new wardrobe from the comfort of your own home, said T.V presenter Fearne Cotton who also acted as a judge alongside model Lisa Snowdon and fashion expert Mark Heyes. “Being able to experience all the joys of shopping with no queues or crowds – complete heaven! she added.
Shopping online has become somewhat of a phenomenon and Cosmopolitan readers also had a say in which of their favourite retailers were worthy enough to take home awards. No category went uncovered, from sexiest heels, to hottest partywear and best designer, the nominees were scrutinized. Winners included, New Look, ASOS and Net-a-Porter.
