Oh I do like to be beside the seaside! That’s the sentiment behind the new collection from Lulu Guinness, which combines practicality with playful - a theme typically associated with the Lulu Guinness brand. We can’t take our eyes off the snakeskin, Silver Padded Shell clutch (£225), a stand-out piece that will add a touch of cutesy summer glamour to your evening wear.
The collection boasts a range of reliable, sophisticated handbags with monochrome scalloped print and edging – echoing the catwalks of Christopher Kane and Chloe – and quirky seaside-inspired additions, like the Urchin bag (£225), covered in leather starfish.
The summer theme is continued throughout, with references of the 1950s; handbags and clutches have been created in wicker and modernised in chic black, with silver clasps. We are distraught that this Wicker handbag (£195) is currently sold out!
Fans of the iconic Lulu Guinness Lips Clutch (£195-£225) will not be disappointed either, as the collection introduces the bag in Sun Blush Snakeskin, a vibrant, warm shade, just perfect for those months in the sun. Not a fan of the clutch? How about going retro, with the the simple, 70s-esque patent Pollyanna (£250) in the same colour.

You are sooooo right about how lovely the padded shell clutch is. In their new year sale it was reduced from £225 to under £70 and i got the last one!!! the snakeskin is so shiny and soft. also, at the bottom of the inside there is a little pearl sewn in as well as embroidery saying ‘The world is your oyster’.
It really is beutiful.
