Lindsay Lohan’s not such a lonely heart

15th April 2009 12:34 pm

Lindsay Lohan has once again been causing quite a stir, but this week it isn’t for any wild child antics, but rather a very clever advertising campaign. In a video posted on Funny or Die, Lindsay pours out her heart to all other lonely hearts and singletons. In the singles video she rather endearingly pokes fun at herself, including her split with Sam Ronson and the drink driving incident.

But if you were hoping that this may be your chance to hook up with Lindsay I am afraid the video is actually part of a viral marketing campaign. The number she gives out to call her for a date on, is 6126 which is her hosiery and leggings line. She also spritzes herself with her new fake tan line Sevin Nyne.

She co-wrote the 91 second sketch, and it has received a colossal amount of hits. This is a great turnaround for Lindsay, it shows her good sense of humour and is an interesting way to promote her brands.

Lindsay’s 6126 partner Kristi Kaylor remarked:

“There’s been a lot of really over-the-top rumours in the last week, instead of responding to the media, we were, like, ‘we have to laugh at it.

Well, they certainly made us laugh, our favourite line:

“I never lose my Google hits , just my underwear.

Pure brilliance.
