Steep vs Cheap: The Blazer

Each year the choice of jacket changes.

2007 was the year for a military style or classic trench, 2008 saw the trend of leather jackets and in 2009 we are adorning the blazer.

There are styles to suit everyone but my personal favourite is the tailored blazer, fantastic for wearing with jeans and sandals for that preppy cool look.

But on the other hand the perfect choice for creating a chic twist to that little black dress. This Elizabeth & James number with a single button and ruched sleeves, £314, available at my-wardrobe.com is just gorgeous.

However, if your pennies just won’t stretch that far good old Silence & Noise come through with this fabulous oversized double breasted blazer, at a snip of the price. £58 available at Urban Outfitters.

  1. Great post! I am a huge Elizabeth & James fan, but I honestly could not afford that blazer unless it was on a BIG sale. Silence and Noise is such a great brand for fashionistas who just can’t splurge all the time! Thanks for the info.

    high price means high quality,
but though cheap maybe quality not as good as them, the style is also very well
