It totally works. And the great thing is that you only need to put the balm on once and your lips won't dry out again the whole time your wearing it, hence the positive review. The day a longwearing lipstick totally moisurises is the day I eat my socks. And trust me, my socks are particularly unpleasant. Trust me! It totally works. I tried to rescue it with lip-balm-before.. and that meant the lip lacquer couldn't stick on my lips and it wiped off after meals.. haha. lip balm after! why didn’t I think of that. I found that dabbing a bit of lip balm on straight after application was essential. That little bit right at the start kept me going for the whole day. Without it and there were crinkly-chapped lips. It wasn't hydrating enough for me.. it was still drying & accentuated my lip lines like never before. You're right about the colour & long lasting.. it was probably the only thing I liked about it.
