Designer Alert: Patricia Nicolás
Born into a family who has been designing jewellery since 1945, London based Spanish beauty and Central Saint Martin’s alumni Patricia Nicolás passion and talent for creating bold gold chains, beaded pendants and gorgeous glossy jewels shows.
Having also studied in Boston, she is also inspired by the vibrant cultures of the different cities she has lived in, and her colourful baubles are made up of gold and semi-precious stones – some of which are beautifully woven together with suede laces and feathers.
Seen in the fashion bible pages of Vogue, InStyle and ELLE, the range is very young, chic and full of originality. And with hipster celebrity disciples such as Sienna Miller and Emily Blunt, not to mention a portfolio of high proile stockists including Harrods and Selfridges, you know this is one jewellery designer to look out for.
