Georgia Jagger and Coco Rocha for Rimmel

London cool-girl and rock daughter Georgia Jagger has been snapped up alongside model Coco Rocha as the new face of Rimmel London.

The pair join Kate Moss, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Lily Cole as the ambassadors for the iconic beauty brand, and will front its S/S10 campaign.

“We needed a wider palette of faces to show the makeup results of our new products,” Stephen Mormoris, senior vice president of global marketing at Coty Beauty, said.

“Rimmel embodies the London look, which is very resonant with young people all over the world who look to London as a centre of multiculturalism and freedom of expression,” he added.

According to WWD, Jagger , who’s following in her mother’s modelling footsteps , was chosen because she is ‘edgy, experimental and provocative’ whilst it’s thought Rocha will bring her signature sultriness to the beauty giant.

In order to further Rimmel’s global appeal, Mormoris also mentioned that the cosmetics company will sign a further three models of different ethnic backgrounds to the brand by January.
