Charlotte Gainsbourg in V magazine

Charlotte Gainsbourg in V magazine
Charlotte Gainsbourg gets in touch with her dark side as she stars in V magazine’s November issue on a shoot named ‘The Devil Inside’.

The London born Parisian girl, who’s made her name as a singer and actress, recently took the lead role alongside Willem Defoe in Lars Von Trier’s latest drama-horror, The Antichrist, inspiring Paul Jasmin to photograph her for the magazine.

In the no frills shoot, a beautiful but solemn looking Charlotte wears a Balenciaga bra and Stella McCartney jeans as she sits on a sofa, troubled – a world away from the magazine’s super-luxe September issue featuring Naomi Campbell.

If only we looked that good in a bra and jeans. We’re not surprised, though, with singer/songwriter Serge Gainsbourg and British actress Jane Birkin (yes, Hermes did name a bag after her) for parents, Charlotte was destined for good looks and intuitive style.

Charlotte, who was named the face of Balenciaga’s latest fragrance earlier in the year, is currently working on her second album with Beck, which is set to release in January 2010.
