As if the shows and presentations at London Fashion week and the press previews at Harvey Nichols hadn’t already got us longing for spring, the Whistles press preview certainly got us wishing for warmer weather.
Now under the creative helm of retail guru Jane Shepherdson, the high-end high street store offers a collection of softly tailored, floaty feminine pieces for S/S10 in neutral hues which ooze the summer season.
As tonal shades are offset by abstract prints, utility inspired shapes and fabrics play against flowing drapes and silk sheaths to create a cool, relaxed ready-to-wear collection which is both pretty and powerful in equal measures.
