Lunchtime buy: Phi Long Quilted Leather Gloves
Another day, another top fashion house brings news of its closure. We were less than happy when we found out that NYC label, Phi, had crumbled under the pressure of the current economic crisis and is set to close in January, 2010.
Naturally, this sad news brought on the urge to shop (well, what beats a spot of retail therapy?) and what else could we possibly be craving, other than a Phi-based spree?
These quilted leather gloves are sure to cure our sadness, at least until Fashion Week comes around. The luxurious winter warmers come up past the elbow and are elasticated at the top, making sure all that cold is kept out. We’re big fans of elbow-length gloves and this sophisticated, silk-lined pair are top of our list.
