It’s dreary days like these, when you can’t face braving winter’s wild weather, that online shopping was made for. And it’s days like these, when nothing looks likely to banish the blues, that Alexander McQueen was made for. Just think what would happen if these two things came together.

Yep, you guessed it, they just have. Alexander McQueen has launched a brand new ecommerce website, which not only gives us online access to his dreamy designs, but also gives us styling tips on how to put his pieces together in the cleverly-created ‘Looks’ section.

“The prospect of making my designs available to more people is very exciting for me,” the British designer told Vogue UK. “You can now buy and experience McQueen from your kitchen table!”

And ceo Jonathan Akeroyd shares McQueen’s enthusiam for the site. “ALEXANDERMCQUEEN.COM will be a flagship store that can grow without boundaries. It is particularly poignant for us to be able to offer ecommerce in the UK, our home and strongest market,” he said, adding, “we have every confidence that this extra level of service will be of great value to the business.”

That it may be, but it won’t be of great value to our bank balance. Visit the website at www.alexandermcqueen.com

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
