It’s back: the collaboration between Britain’s best print-pattern designer and high street hotspot has returned as Jonathan Saunders and Topshop take their relationship one step further in the name of fashion.

The best things, as they say, come in small packages, and no addage is more apt for this, Saunders’ fourth collection for Topshop. The Scottish designer has worked his signature stroke across the five-piece-strong denim and devore line, presenting geometric shapes, block colours and a relaxed, architectural aesthetic.

“My collection for Topshop this season has been inspired by sportswear and workwear, as well as the bold and graphic shapes of the Memphis movement. It’s perfect for urban city dewellers, Saunders , who’s making a welcomed return to London Fashion Week , said of his spring offering.

With a noticeable nod towards the 90′s, we’re seeing denim-on-denim designs, loose fitting jerseys and sweater styles; but our eyes are on that full-length black body-con devore dress , easy-chic and effortlessly cool.

The new Jonathan Saunders for Topshop collection hits select Topshop stores this Friday, 22nd January, as well as being available online at www.topshop.com, with prices ranging between a thrifty £35 and £50.
